Diane and Rod Sharp have long histories with the Vineyard movement. Originally from California, Rod spent many years in various lay leadership positions at the Anaheim Vineyard under John Wimber including several groundbreaking ministry trips to the UK and Africa.
Diane has been involved in worship for over 30 years leading and teaching. Writing and publishing worship songs like “If You Say Go”, through Vineyard music, has opened the door for many opportunities to speak into other worship leaders lives. A desire to give away all that God has poured into her is at the heart of her ministry.
Together Rod and Diane now serve as part of the leadership team for the Vineyard USA Pastor Sabbath retreats as inner healing prayer ministers and worship leaders. They are excited to partner with the Flourish team to provide ministry to the wider church.
Married in 2011 after the painful loss of each of their spouses, they love ministering together and sharing their story of healing and restoration. Through their individual pursuits of healing they have discovered a passion to see others walk in emotional freedom. This journey has led them to train in a variety of inner healing models. Experience has shown them that God desires to address the pockets of hurt and shame hidden in our history that can keep us from experiencing the fullness of our lives in Christ. Inner healing prayer provides a safe environment for individuals to encounter Jesus in these places of pain.
The Sharps currently live in Atlanta where they enjoy cooking, entertaining and spending time with their four adult kids, their spouses and three granddaughters with one on the way.
