A graduate of Sustainable Faith’s School of Spiritual Direction, Celeste Boudreaux has offered spiritual direction since 2013, and has also served as both a foreign and home missionary, as well as in local home churches, together with her husband, Keith, (and independently) since they married in 1978.
Her path to a more contemplative and grace-filled experience of God was kickstarted by a physical and emotional health crisis in midlife that made her desperate for a different way of living. As a survivor of childhood trauma and dysfunction, God rather surprisingly used art and creativity as an important modality in her healing, and now Celeste often uses it with others, as well as IFS –Internal Family Systems, or “parts work.”
As a spiritual director, she creates a quiet haven with a slower pace; comfortable, listening pauses; and the glow of a candle as a reminder of God’s presence, love and wisdom. She has a special heart for people deconstructing old beliefs, exploring new areas of faith and practice, and healing from wounds of the heart.
Celeste is also a trained SoulCollage® Facilitator and blogger (Luminous-Heart.com). She and her husband live in Pearland, a suburb of Houston, Texas.
