Janice Tarleton is passionate about accompanying others – especially ministry leaders – in sacred soul work, helping them to grow in emotional health, relationship with God, and others. As a Spiritual Director and inner healing prayer facilitator, Janice believes transformation takes time, intentionality and courage as we allow ourselves to become fully known to God.
She is a graduate of Sustainable Faith’s School of Spiritual Direction and has been training spiritual directors since 2014. Janice has also completed training in two types of inner healing prayer and has been practicing it regularly since 2011.
A native Arizonan, Janice earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Arizona State University and worked as a newspaper reporter and freelance magazine writer, as well as in city government communications.
Janice and her husband, Terry, founded a Vineyard church in the north Phoenix area in 2001. High-school sweethearts, they have been married since 1981, have four children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys interior decorating – making homes look beautiful, unique to the occupants, uncluttered and functional – possibly an external manifestation of the goal of soul work.
